Orioles acquired RHP Loan Rinehart from the Mariners for RHP Eduard Bazardo.
Rinehart has posted a solid 2.84 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 51/12 K/BB ratio across 38 innings (31 appearances) this season for High-A Everett. The 25-year-old righty will head to the upper minors in Baltimore’s system as a relief project.
