Braves signed OF Luis Durango to a minor league contract.
Durango made just seven plate appearances in the major leagues this past year and registered a weak .640 OPS across 108 minor league games. He’ll be organizational outfield depth for the Braves in 2012.

Royals signed OF Luis Durango to a minor league contract.
It’s not clear whether he’ll receive an invite to spring training. Durango batted .289/.352/.335 with no homers and 46 steals at Triple-A in the Braves’ organization this season.

Padres recalled OF Luis Durango from Triple-A Portland.
The Padres are playing National League opponents this week and were short a position player. Thus, Durango, who has swiped 17 bases this year for Portland, will join the team Tuesday. He has little fantasy value.

On Monday, the Padres will officially recall outfielder Luis Durango from Triple-A Portland and ship reliever Luis Perdomo back to the minors, according to MLB.com.
San Diego wanted an additional position player with National League competition coming up. Durango has all sorts of speed, but his other skills have never developed. Durango has stolen 17 bases in 2010 for Portland, but he’s also been caught 10 times. He isn’t likely to draw enough playing time to have fantasy relevance in most formats, even with Scott Hairston and Kyle Blanks on the 15-day disabled list. He’s worth a look in deep NL-only leagues for the rogue stolen bases he could give you while up, however.

Padres recalled OF Luis Durango from Double-A San Antonio.
Durango, 23, hit .281/.390./309 for the Missions. Obviously, he doesn’t possess much power, but with 44 stolen bases, looks to be a solid reserve outfielder down the stretch. If ‘The Panamaniac’ can develop some power, he might have a future. If not, Joey Gathright or Freddy Guzman are what he will hope to become one day.

Astros claimed OF Luis Durango off waivers from the Padres; optioned him to Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Durango was designated for assignment last week. The 25-year-old outfielder was batting just .243 over his first 61 games with Triple-A Tucson this season, but has some value because of his plus-speed and defensive ability. He could still carve out a niche as a reserve outfielder in the right situation.

Astros sent OF Luis Durango outright to Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Durango successfully cleared waivers after being designated for assignment last week. The speedy outfielder is 1-for-6 in two games with the Astros this season.

Astros recalled OF Luis Durango from Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Durango was claimed off waivers from the Padres in late June. He should see some playing time in the Astros’ outfield, which just lost Hunter Pence and Michael Bourn. Durango has good speed and could be useful in deeper NL-only fantasy leagues.

Padres optioned OF Luis Durango to Triple-A Portland.
Durango had just one hit in nine at-bats in his most recent stint in San Diego. The speedster has batted .321 overall this season and .385 in 39 at-bats over the past two years, though. He’ll likely be back in September.

Padres recalled OF Luis Durango from Triple-A Portland.
Durango, 24, is batting .321 with two RBI, three stolen bases and six runs scored in 28 at-bats with the Padres this season. The speedster could play a valuable role as a pinch-runner and defensive replacement over the season’s final weeks.
