Delcarmen, who turns 30 next month, posted a 5.59 ERA and 33/15 K/BB ratio over 38 2/3 innings last season with the Triple-A affiliates for the Mariners and Rangers. The former Red Sox reliever hasn’t pitched in the big leagues since 2010 as a member of the Rockies and will likely serve as organizational depth.

    Delcarmen has yet to give up a run in six innings. The promising right-hander was 3-6 with a 4.68 ERA in 73 innings for Single-A Sarasota after returning from Tommy John surgery in mid-May.

    Per MASN Sports’ Roch Kubatko, he will not get a spring training invite. Delcarmen, who turns 31 next month, had a 4.42 ERA and 59/36 K/BB ratio over 57 innings with the Yankees’ Triple-A affiliate last year and hasn’t appeared in the majors since 2010. At this point, he’s nothing more than organizational depth.

    Delcarmen spent the entire 2013 season at the Orioles’ Triple-A affiliate in Norfolk, where he posted a 2.83 ERA and 46/22 K/BB ratio in 54 innings. The 31-year-old hasn’t appeared in a major league game since 2010.
