Phillies signed RHP Max Kuhns to a minor league contract.
Kuhns spent the last two seasons pitching for the Sioux City Explorers of the independent American Association after logging four years in the Mets’ minor league system. The 28-year-old righty has yet to pitch above High-A, but clearly the Phillies see something they like in his profile to give him another shot this season in affiliated ball.
