Blue Jays INF prospect Miguel Hiraldo went 2-for-5 with a homer for High-A Vancouver on Sunday.
Hiraldo, 21, also doubled and drove in four runs. The 21-year-old has not been great for Vancouver in 2022 -- not great is an understatement -- as he’s registered just a .621 OPS over 65 games with a 76/13 K/BB mark in 238 at-bats. He’s also stolen 21 bases, and his power-speed combo as a middle-infielder is why he’s still an intriguing potential fantasy option. There’s a lot of work to be done here, but Hiraldo has time to do it as a player that won’t turn 22 until the end of the season. He’s a potential buy-low prospect in dynasty formats.

Blue Jays INF prospect Miguel Hiraldo went 3-for-5 with a steal on Wednesday for Low-A Dunedin on Wednesday.
That steal is already the fifth on the season for Hiraldo in just 19 games. Despite the three-hit game, it’s been a bit of a slow start with the bat for the 20-year-old, as he’s still slashing a less-than-spectacular .260/.313/364 with one homer and a 25/5 K/BB ratio. Don’t let those numbers fool you, however; this is a hitter with the potential for plus power as he fills out his frame, and he should make enough hard contact to hit for a decent average as well. Hiraldo is years away, but a player that can stay up the middle of the infield that’s capable of hitting 25 homers and stealing up to15-to-20 bases is certainly one fantasy managers should keep an eye on.
