October finally is here — and so is the best version of the Padres, as they demonstrated in their two-game destruction of the Chicago Cubs in the NL Wild Card Series.

Brewers sent RHP Lyon Richardson outright to Triple-A Nashville.

Richardson figures to elect free agency to get a head start on his next opportunity before the offseason gets underway. The 26-year-old passed through waivers unclaimed after being designated for assignment last week.
Jacob Misiorowski

MIL Starting Pitcher #32

Jacob Misiorowski will start Game 1 of the NL Division Series on Saturday.

No surprise here. Brewers manager Pat Murphy confirmed that fellow youngster Logan Henderson will get the ball for Game 2. Misiorowski made the leap from hard-throwing rookie phenom to full-fledged front-of-the-rotation superstar this season with a microscopic 1.80 ERA, 0.80 WHIP and 252/44 K/BB ratio across 174 2/3 innings over 30 starts. He’ll spearhead Milwaukee’s pitching staff when they open up postseason play against either the Padres or Cubs later this week.
Jackson Chourio

MIL Left Fielder #11

Jackson Chourio drove in two runs while going 3-for-4 in a win over the Cardinals on Sunday.

Chourio singled in a run in the first, and did the same in the fourth. An injury shortened his season, but it was an excellent campaign for the 22-year-old that saw him bring home 75 runs and hit .291/.351/.487 over 127 games with 25 homers and 23 stolen bases. He’ll hit near the top of the lineup in the postseason for the Brew Crew against the Cubs or Padres next weekend.
Shane Drohan

MIL Relief Pitcher #55

Shane Drohan recorded the final five outs to earn a save Sunday against the Cardinals.

Drohan struck out a pair and didn’t allow a hit. The 27-year-old is now set for the postseason, and it’s likely he’ll serve a multi-inning role in the ALDS beginning next weekend.
Jacob Misiorowski

MIL Starting Pitcher #32

Jacob Misiorowski threw 5 1/3 scoreless innings to pick up a win and lead the Brewers to a 6-4 win over the Cardinals on Sunday.

In his final start before the postseason, Misiorowski picked up his 16th win and struck out five against two walks. It was a remarkable first full campaign for the 24-year-old, and he finishes the regular season with a 1.90 ERA and a remarkable 252/44 K/BB ratio over 174 2/3 innings. He’ll start Game 1 of the NLDS, either against the Cubs or Padres.
Joey Ortiz

MIL Shortstop #3

Joey Ortiz (abdomen) was held out of the Brewers’ starting lineup for Sunday’s regular season finale against the Cardinals.

Ortiz underwent an MRI exam that revealed nothing more than abdominal swelling. He’s also dealing with a knee contusion. If it were the postseason, it’s possible that he may have gutted it out, but with nothing to play for on Sunday it was an easy choice for the Brewers to keep him out of the lineup.
Joey Ortiz

MIL Shortstop #3

Joey Ortiz’s MRI on Saturday showed some abdominal swelling but nothing particularly concerning to the Blue Jays.

Ortiz also underwent tests on his knee, but they showed only a contusion. He seems doubtful for Sunday, but he could be ready to play in the NLDS opener.
Brice Turang

MIL 2nd Baseman #2

Brice Turang hit a two-run homer in a 3-2 win for the Brewers on Saturday over the Cardinals.

Turang turned a 2-1 for the Brewers into a 3-2 lead with his two-run shot off Quinn Mathews. The 26-year-old has homered 21 times, and he’s just one run driven in short of his first 100-RBI campaign. There are obviously a lot of good players on the Brew Crew, but Turang is one of the key reasons they’ve been as good as anyone in the sport in 2026. Fantasy managers should be as grateful as Milwaukee is.
Aaron Ashby

MIL Relief Pitcher #26

Aaron Ashby went the last two innings to convert a save against the Cardinals on Saturday.

Ashby got the final six outs to pick up his fourth save of the campaign. The southpaw didn’t allow a hit and struck out two while lowering his ERA to a healthy 3.12. Ashby may not be asked to convert saves in the postseason, but he’s going to be someone the Brewers turn to in high-leverage situations. They should, anyway.
Kyle Harrison

MIL Starting Pitcher #52

Kyle Harrison threw two scoreless innings and picked up a win against the Cardinals on Saturday.

Harrison relieved Dustin May after May gave up two runs in three innings. The left-hander has really struggled at the end of the year, but this was a reminder of the good he’s provided in 2026 and lowered his season ERA to 4.20 and helped him pick up his 11th win of the season. It would not be a surprise at all if Harrison pitched in a similar role in the postseason; particularly if Milwaukee advances to a seven-game series.
