It’s been a dispiriting season for the Phillies. A couple, actually, following five-straight division titles and the expectation that the Phillies would contend even longer. But now it looks like rebuilding time or, at the very least, serious reshuffling time.

How did they get here? High Heat Stats takes a look. Here’s their short assessment: “Philadelphia’s’ dynasty is dead. Complacency, age, and poor contracts killed it.”
