Brewers second baseman Scooter Gennett cut his hand in the shower following Sunday’s game in Pittsburgh and “will miss some time,” according to Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journel Sentinel.
It was bad enough that he needed stitches and Gennett posted a picture on Instagram, explaining:
Can’t believe it! Literally trying to grab some body wash in the shower (post game in Pittsburgh) and sliced my finger on the bottom of the metal thing that holds the shampoo and body wash! CraZ I know.
He’s hoping to be back in the Brewers’ lineup Wednesday.
