Matt Kemp joined Mickey Mantle (1956) and Willie Mays (1964) as only CFs in liveball era to hit 10 HRs within their team’s first 19 games.

Matt Kemp is hitting .449 with 10 homers in 19 games, leading the league in batting average, on-base percentage, slugging percentage, OPS, hits, total bases, RBIs, runs, and probably several hundred other categories.
