Brewers center fielder Carlos Gomez was forced to exit Sunday’s game against the Mets after he was hit in the helmet by a 97 mph fastball from rookie right-hander Noah Syndergaard, but fortunately he didn’t suffer any concussion symptoms and was cleared to return to the lineup tonight against the Tigers.
