Mariners optioned RHP Will Klein to Triple-A Tacoma and reassigned INF Nick Dunn and INF/OF Samad Taylor to minor league camp.
Klein was acquired from the Athletics in January, but the 25-year-old will begin his 2025 campaign in Tacoma with the Rainiers. He could be one of the first arms up if/when Seattle needs reinforcements.
