Snyder made six relief appearances for the Rangers from 2021-2022 and will head to Philadelphia as extra organizational depth. The 28-year-old righty didn’t pitch at all this past season after re-signing with Texas, likely due to injury, but nothing official on that front.

The 27-year-old hurler made just two appearances with the big league club in 2022 -- giving up a pair of runs in one inning of work. It’s unclear if he’ll receive an invitation to big league camp or not. Either way, he’ll continue to function as extra bullpen depth for the Rangers once again in 2023.

It sounds like he’ll be the team’s lone non-tender. Snyder has given up four runs in 4 2/3 innings of relief work for the Rangers the last two years. He throws hard and has a decent slider, but it’s going to take better command to make him a major leaguer.

The 26-year-old hurler will head back to Triple-A after spending the weekend with the Rangers. He holds an 18.00 ERA, 4.00 WHIP and 0/3 K/BB ratio over one inning of work in two appearances with the big league club this season. He’ll continue to hone his craft in the minor leagues.

He’s taking the place of Josh Sborz in the Rangers bullpen. The 26-year-old has allowed two runs over one inning of work with the Rangers this season, but has fired 8 2/3 scoreless innings with a 0.92 WHIP and 12/4 K/BB ratio during his time at Triple-A Round Rock. He’ll function in middle relief for the Rangers.

Snyder will go back to the minors after Dennis Santana was activated from the COVID-19 injured list. The The 26-year-old right-hander allowed two runs over an inning of work. He’ll continue to serve as organizational depth for the Rangers.

Snyder takes the place of Dennis Santana on the roster. He’ll operate in the middle innings while with the club, and it might be short as Santana can be taken off the COVID-19 injured list without missing a specific amount of time.

Alexy was a candidate to secure a spot in the Rangers’ Opening Day rotation this spring, but will head to Triple-A Round Rock to open the regular season as organizational starting pitching depth.

The right-hander was shut down in September with right shoulder fatigue. Snyder allowed two runs over 3 2/3 innings this season for the Rangers.

An MRI taken earlier this week on Snyder’s right shoulder revealed no major structural damage, but he has been shut down for the remainder of the season. The 25-year-old initially landed on the 10-day IL on September 7.
