Orioles signed INF Patrick Palmeiro to a minor league contract.
The 26-year-old is the son of former Orioles great and big league All-Star Rafael Palmeiro. After spending the first three years of his professional career in the White Sox organization, he played for the Sugar Land Skeeters in the Independent Atlantic League in 2015, slashing .256/.315/.404 with 13 homers and 68 RBI.
