Paxton Crawford pitched two scoreless innings for Double-A Chattanooga yesterday in his return to the minors.
Crawford looked like a potential bottom-of-the-rotation starter for Boston until he hurt his shoulder a couple of years ago. He spent last year playing indy ball, going 12-10 with a 5.34 ERA for Nashua of the Atlantic League. It’s unlikely that he’ll make it back to the majors with Cincinnati, but we’re rooting for him.
