Pirates signed C Ralph Henriquez to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.
Henriquez spent this past season with the independent Long Island Ducks and was with the Mariners’ Triple-A affiliate in 2012. The 26-year-old backstop will serve as minor league depth.
