Rangers re-signed RHP Reid Birlingmair to a minor league contract.
Birlingmair split last season between the Fargo-Moorhead Redhawks of the independent American Association and the Rangers’ minor league system where he compiled a solid 2.68 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 47/15 K/BB ratio across 40 1/3 innings (25 appearances) between High-A Hickory and Double-A Frisco. The 27-year-old adds upper-level middle relief depth for Texas heading into 2024.
