Reymond Fuentes went 3-for-4 with a homer and four runs scored for low Single-A Greenville on Sunday.
The 19-year-old Fuentes is hitting .279/.359/.441 as one of the youngest players in the Sally League. He’s also 7-for-7 stealing bases. The Red Sox have to be pretty excited about his early progress. There aren’t any questions about his glove in center, so if he’s close to an average hitter, he’ll have a long career as a regular.

Padres purchased the contract of OF Reymond Fuentes from Triple-A Tucson.
Acquired from the Red Sox back in the winter of 2010 as part of the Adrian Gonzalez deal, Fuentes has had a breakout year this season, batting .330/.413/.448 with six homers and 35 steals between Double- and Triple-A. With Cameron Maybin no lock to return this season, the Padres’ center field job could be Fuentes’ through the end of next month. He’s worth a look in deeper leagues if you need speed.

Royals recalled OF Reymond Fuentes from Triple-A Omaha.
Fuentes earns the call-up with Brett Eibner (ankle) landing on the disabled list. He secured himself a spot on the Opening Day roster after some nice work in spring training, but managed just five singles in 21 at-bats before being optioned back to Omaha midway through April. There is no fantasy allure here.

Royals optioned OF Reymond Fuentes to Triple-A Omaha.
Brett Eibner was activated in a corresponding 25-man roster move. Fuentes has batted .317/.364/.341 in 44 plate appearances this season at the major league level. He will likely be back up later this summer.

Royals designated OF Reymond Fuentes for assignment.
The move clears a 40-man roster spot for Daniel Nava. Fuentes, 25, has batted .243/.300/.257 over 80 career plate appearances at the major league level.

    Royals released OF Reymond Fuentes.
Fuentes was designated for assignment by Kansas City on September 6 to clear a 40-man roster spot for Daniel Nava. The 25-year-old outfielder will enter the offseason as a free agent.

Diamondbacks signed OF Reymond Fuentes to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.
The 25-year-old was a first round selection of the Red Sox in the 2009 draft. He appeared in 13 games for the Royals in 2016, slashing .317/.364/.341 with five RBI in 44 plate appearances. He’ll likely be given an opportunity to compete for a reserve outfield spot on the club’s Opening Day roster.

Reymond Fuentes hit a three-run bomb against the Reds on Monday.
The 26-year-old is trying to earn a roster spot as a backup outfielder. He had a .317 batting average in 13 games with the Royals last year. It was his first taste of the majors since a 23-game stint with the Padres in 2013. The home run is a rarity for Fuentes, who didn’t hit a single longball in the majors or minors last year.

Reymond Fuentes went 3-for-4 with a homer and two RBI in Friday’s loss to the Dodgers.
Fuentes, a non-roster invitee, got the Diamondbacks on the board with an RBI single in the second inning before adding a solo shot off Trevor Oaks in the fourth. The 26-year-old had a couple of stints with the Royals last season, but spent the majority of the year in Triple-A while batting .254/.325/.317 with zero homers and 17 steals over 65 games. Even if he finds himself on Arizona’s bench at some point, there’s not much fantasy appeal here.

Gregor Blanco left Thursday’s game against the Marlins with a jammed thumb.
He jammed it diving for a single by Giancarlo Stanton. Blanco stayed in for his next at-bat but was replaced by Reymond Fuentes to begin the bottom of the fourth inning. He went 0-for-2 before exiting.
