Mariners re-signed RHP Rodney Hutchison to a minor league contract.
Hutchison signed with the Mariners in late June shortly after being released by the Yankees. He spent the remainder of the year in the lower minors, compiling a strong 3.68 ERA, 0.86 WHIP and 15/7 K/BB ratio across 22 innings (eight appearances) for Low-A Modesto. The 26-year-old righty remains a long-term relief project for Seattle.
