Ross Adolph went 0-for-0 with two walks and a run scored in Sunday’s Grapefruit League loss to the Washington Nationals.
No hits for Adolph on the afternoon, but he made his presence felt with a patient plate approach. The 25-year-old outfielder spent the 2021 season at the Double-A level and figures to start back up in the minors for the 2022 campaign.

Astros acquired minor leaguers OF Ross Adolph, 2B Luis Santana and C Scott Manea from the Mets in exchange for infielder J.D. Davis and minor league infielder Cody Bohanek.
Adolph was the Mets’ 12th-round pick in the 2018 draft. The 22-year-old center fielder got his professional career off to a strong start by batting .276/.348/.509 with seven home runs, 35 RBI and 14 stolen bases in 61 games for the Single-A Brooklyn Cyclones after signing. If the players taken in the 2018 draft were to be re-drafted he would be selected long before the 12th round this time around.
