Reds acquired INF Victor Acosta from the Padres in exchange for Brandon Drury.
Acosta, 18, was considered one of the top bats in the IFA class of 2021, and signed for a $1.8 million bonus that January. He’s held his own in 2022 with a .706 OPS in 32 games in the short-season Arizona League. Acosta is years away, but has significant fantasy upside in his bat and speed.
