    Ben Badler of Baseball America reports that the Rangers have signed 17-year-old Dominican shortstop Yenci Pena.
    Pena is one of the 12 former Braves prospects that had their contracts voided. He will receive a signing bonus of $675,000 after already receiving $1.05 million from the Braves. Pena hit .230/.328/.327 with two homers, 19 RBI and seven stolen bases in 45 games in the Dominican Summer League as a 16-year-old in 2017.
