Results, stats for Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona

Erik Jones got to celebrate in victory lane for the first time in his Cup Series career after his win at Daytona.

Erik Jones survived the Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona International Speedway to score his first Cup victory.

Jones restarted in second in the outside lane and was able to get a push from Chris Buescher in the overtime run.

This is only the second time in seven races on restrictor plate tracks that Jones was running at the end.

Martin Truex Jr. finished second, which was his first top-10 finish since he was second in the 2016 Daytona 500.

AJ Allmendinger, Kasey Kahne and Buescher rounded out the top five. Allmendinger and Kahne scored their season-best finishes. Buescher tied his season-best of fifth that he scored in the Daytona 500.
