Wake Forest junior DB Nasir Greer has been ruled out for the remainder of the season due to a knee injury.
Greer (6'0/202) had his 2019 season cut short due to a torn ACL, and he appeared to be making progress in his recovery ahead of this past weekend’s game at North Carolina. But he went down during the loss, and has now been ruled out for the remainder of the season. “I was so excited last week and he had a great week of practice and he looked like Nasir Greer again and I was so fired up and we are playing UNC and they have all these really good receivers..... He got out there and he got injured,” HC Dave Clawson said on Tuesday. In addition to Greer, Wake Forest could also be without DB Luke Masterson for Saturday’s game at Duke. Masterson wasn’t able to play against North Carolina, as he hadn’t fully recovered from a foot injury suffered earlier this season.
