Cady Lalanne has signed a deal to play for Zhejiang Banks in China.
He was the Spurs’ 55th pick in the 2015 Draft and he spent last season playing in the D-League. He didn’t play well during the summer league, so he probably won’t be joining the NBA anytime soon.

Cady Lalanne has signed a deal with the Zhejiang Golden Bulls in the CBA.

The Spurs selected Massachusetts center Cady Lalanne with the 55th pick in the NBA Draft.
Not to be confused with the Pavement song Shady Lane...the Spurs selected Cady Lalanne at 55. Lalanne averaged 11.6 points, 9.5 boards and 1.9 blocks during his senior season, but he likely won’t be in the rotation in San Antonio any time soon. Chances are, the Pavement jam has more fantasy value.

Spurs second-round pick Cady Lalanne admitted that he’s still learning how to play basketball.
Lalanne, who escaped to Florida at the age of 6 from Haiti, did not start playing until he was a teenager. “I’m still trying to figure out a lot about the game and about myself, also,” he said. The Spurs have called him a “work in progress,” but he’s a project they seem invested in. Follow the link below for the full read on Lalanne’s incredible path to the NBA.

Lalanne will continue to develop with the Spurs’ D-League affiliate, and that will be the case for (at least) his entire rookie season.
