    Hornets waive G Chris Wright.
Wright was never expected to make the regular season roster. He played in the Turkish Professional League during the lockout, and it’s reasonable to think he’ll head back overseas.

The Mavericks will call up PG Chris Wright from the D-League and sign him to a 10-day contract.
Wright was a D-League All-Star for the Iowa Energy this year, averaging 15.5 points, 7.0 assists and 4.3 rebounds. Mike James is starting at PG for Dallas at the moment, so anything is possible, but owners shouldn’t bother with Wright in any formats.

Chris Wright has joined the Mavericks and officially signed his 10-day contract.
Dallas doesn’t play again until Thursday, so Wright will have a day to practice with his new teammates in order to get acclimated. He could be pressed into action immediately if Darren Collison (eye) is forced to miss time, but it’s more likely the Mavs ease him in.

Coach Rick Carlisle said the Mavs won’t sign Chris Wright to a second 10-day contract.
Wright never played a game for the Mavs after signing with them March 13. He’ll likely return to the D-League where he was an All-Star before being called up by Dallas.

Julyan Stone was invited to participate in the Raptors training camp.
The Raptors are also inviting Chris Wright and another unnamed player to training camp, which gives them 17 players on the roster. The invite to Stone comes after knee and hip injuries canceled an agreed-upon contract with the Raptors earlier in the summer, but GM Masai Ujiri may have brought him over from Denver for a reason. That said, he’s highly unlikely to make an impact this season.

Chris Wright has signed with Auxilium Cus Torino of Italy.
Wright hasn’t played in the NBA since the 2013-14 season and can be ignored in all fantasy leagues.

Chris Wright will leave the Bakersfield Jam of the D-League to sign an overseas deal.
It’s unclear exactly where Wright is headed, but the 25-year-old has only played three NBA games in his career so this news shouldn’t affect fantasy owners.
