Cleanthony Early has signed a contract with Rebeldes del Enriquillo, a club in the Dominican Republic.
Early, a former second-round pick of the Knicks, spent last season in the G-League.

Cleanthony Early (hamstring) is not expected to play on Saturday.
He injured his hamstring recently and he could miss more time. The Knicks didn’t give him a qualifying offer, so getting out there to show what he can do is huge.

Cleanthony Early (hamstring) is not practicing with the Knicks summer league team on Thursday.
While this isn’t huge news, each day he can’t practice and play prevents the 25-year-old from developing. Early is listed as day-to-day and should be able to play in summer league, but he isn’t on the fantasy radar right now.

The Knicks declined to give a qualifying contract offer to Cleanthony Early.
That means he’ll be an unrestricted free agent, but the Knicks should be able to keep him on a low-cost deal should New York have interest.

Phil Jackson called his decision to pass on acquiring Jae Crowder the “biggest mistake” to date in his Knicks tenure.
“One of the first deals I engineered when I came back to New York was to trade Tyson Chandler and Raymond Felton to Dallas for Shane Larkin, Jose Calderon, Wayne Ellington, Samuel Dalembert, plus a second-round pick that the Mavs owed to the Celtics,” Jackson told scribe Charley Rosen. “In talking with Boston, I was given the option of taking that pick or else taking Jae Crowder. I liked Crowder but I thought he wouldn’t get much of a chance to play behind Carmelo, so I took the pick which turned out to be Cleanthony Early.” Whoops.

Cleanthony Early is still dealing with a hamstring injury.
It’s unclear when Early may be able to return, which is unfortunate because he’s playing in summer league for his next deal after New York declined to extend a qualifying contract offer.

Unrestricted free agent Cleanthony Early is not expected to attend Knicks training camp, a source told Marc Berman of the New York Post.
The Knicks have a full roster that does not include Early, so we’re not exactly breaking ground here. It’s likely that the former second-round pick will have to head overseas in order to reestablish any kind of value stateside.

The Knicks are reportedly re-signing Cleanthony Early.
Early is currently dealing with a hamstring injury, so he’s expected to begin the year rehabbing in the D-League. There’s no fantasy value here.

The Knicks have officially re-signed Cleanthony Early.
Early is expected to begin the year rehabbing his hamstring injury in the D-League, and that’s more than likely where he’ll be spending a majority of the 2016-17 season.

According to the New York Post, the Knicks haven’t decided if they will invite Cleanthony Early to training camp.
He made just nine appearances for the Knicks last season and they predictably declined to give him a qualifying offer in June. The Knicks already have 17 players heading into camp, so Early’s chances of making the 15-man roster wouldn’t be good.
