Suns second-round pick Dwayne Collins will play in Italy next season for Cimberio Varese.
Collins will have a better shot at contributing in Phoenix next season after a year of experience overseas. The athletic forward at least has a sense of humor -- after being selected with the final pick of the 2010 draft, he had “Mr. Irrelevant” tattooed on his hand.
  • PHX Power Forward
Suns second-round PF Dwayne Collins had surgery last Friday to repair a meniscus tear.
As the last pick of the second round, Collins is far from guaranteed a roster spot. Missing summer league will hurt, but with the Suns having just eight roster spots locked up for next season, Collins probably landed in the right place. He’s not a great scorer or shot blocker, rendering him useless in fantasy.

Suns selected Miami PF Dwayne Collins with the No. 60 pick in the NBA draft.
This year’s Mr. Irrelevant is a muscular 6'8 power forward that played four years at Miami. He won’t be able to outplay Lou Amundson, if Amundson returns to the Suns.
