The Los Angeles Clippers signed guard Guillermo Diaz on Thursday.
Diaz, the Clippers’ second-round pick in 2006, played in the Czech Republic and Greece last season and averaged 10.2 points and 3.2 rebounds in five games for the Clippers’ summer team in Vegas. He played three college seasons at Miami and will try to make the team’s final roster as a backup point guard.

The Clippers awarded guard Guillermo Diaz another 10-day contract on Friday.
Diaz played in only one game with the Clippers this year, and has no fantasy value.

The Clippers recently assigned guard Guillermo Diaz to their D-League affiliate, the Anaheim Arsenal.
The team has no immediate plans to fill the now-vacant 15th spot on their roster, and we can’t imagine Diaz having any fantasy value this season.

The Clippers waived guard Richie Frahm on Monday. He was signed on December 14th, and had averaged four points in 10 games played.
Frahm’s contract would have become guaranteed on Thursday, and waiving him allowed the Clippers to sign guard Guillermo Diaz to a 10-day contract, which helps them in the wake of Brevin Knight’s stress reaction to his fibula.

The Clippers signed guard Guillermo Diaz from the D League on Tuesday.
With Brevin Knight and Sam Cassell always gimpy they decided to add some insurance, but Diaz should have no fantasy value.

The Clippers picked up guard Guillermo Diaz with the 52nd pick in Wednesday’s draft.
He may not make the Clippers’ team next season due to their current roster. If he does play in Europe, the Clips would still retain his draft rights.

Despite the culture shock of adjusting to a new country where few people speak English, Guillermo Diaz is playing very well for Nymburk in the Czech Republic.
The Clippers are hoping Diaz can improve his skills this season and so far, the combo guard is doing great, leading the team with 21.4 PPG, while shooting 55 percent from the field and 46 percent from beyond the arc. He’s also averaging 4.0 rebounds and 3.1 assists. Diaz will have a chance to win a job with the Clippers next season.

Former University of Miami guard Guillermo Diaz, who left school early to enter the NBA Draft, will begin his pro career in the Czech Republic.
Diaz, who was taken in the second round by the Clippers, will begin playing for Nymburk, the defending league champion, according to his high school coach and mentor, Art Alvarez. He’ll likely play in the NBA at some point, but wasn’t going to see much playing time behind Sam Cassell and Shaun Livingston this season.
