He’ll see a hand specialist soon and this should mean even more run for starters JaVale McGee and Andray Blatche. Additionally, reserves Kevin Seraphin, Trevor Booker and Hamady N’diaye will all see some extra minutes. However, that doesn’t mean any of them are worth a pick up at this time.

N’Diaye averaged five minutes per game in 16 appearances last season, and might make similar cameos later in the season if/when the Wizards are eliminated from playoff contention.

N’diaye is a pure shot blocker that was averaging just 5.0 points and 3.6 rebounds in three starts for the Energy.

N’diaye was a second-round pick in 2010. The shot-blocker appeared in just three games for the Wizards this season.

None of these players had much of a chance to produce with the Kings and are unlikely to catch on with another team. The Sacramento roster is now down to 14.

Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports said that he has a “good shot” of making the roster, but he has no chance at fantasy value this season.

He was with the Kings in training camp, but should do better overseas than he did stateside.

If you needed more confirmation that DeMarcus Cousins is playing on Friday, this is it. N’diaye played seven minutes on Tuesday and has played just 52 minutes on the season. He’ll get some extra playing time with the Reno Bighorns.

He’s played a grand total of two minutes over the last 12 games and the Kings had to waive him or else they would have needed to guarantee his contract. Ndiaye could wind up on an NBA team on a 10-day deal, but will likely end up in the D-League.

Gray’s massive 270-pound frame may come in handy for spot minutes behind DeMarcus Cousins, but it’s just as likely that Hamady N’diaye will assume most of the minutes left behind in Chuck Hayes’ wake. Neither guy is worth a glance outside of deep leagues.
