Isaiah Rider was arrested in Arizona earlier this week for violating his probation.
Rider is no stranger to law enforcement. He was arrested in 2010, 2008, and 2006. There’s no chance that we’ll ever see him back in the league despite multiple attempts at a comeback.

Isaiah Rider was arrested on Sunday on outstanding arrest warrants after police responded to a domestic disturbance call between a taxi driver and a passenger.
Berkeley California police arrested him on a no-bail warrant issued by Oakland police for unlawful firearm possession and another warrant for grand theft. The former Slam Dunk winner has a history of arrests, including a 2006 Marin County case in which he pleaded guilty to false imprisonment and battery.

Isaiah Rider is attempting a comeback at age 38, and according to his agent the Nets are considering bringing him into training camp.
Rider has had a checkered history with the law, and the NBA, where he hasn’t played since the 2001-02 season. Despite the possibility of bringing him into camp, the Nets have said that they don’t see him competing for a roster spot. A return to the NBA for Rider would be a longshot, at best.

Isiah Rider, who led the Portland Trailblazers in scoring for a season before retiring in 2001, was arrested yesterday and charged with kidnapping.
Rider allegedly got into an argument Wednesday night with the unidentified female acquaintance and drove off with her against her will, Baker said. The woman began to scream, attracting the attention of police. His rap sheet is a long one, filled with everything from spitting on a fan, kicking a woman in the back and drug possession to possessing “unregistered” cell phones.

He appeared in court Friday to face charges of kidnap and false imprisonment. His ex-girlfriend claims he forced her into his car and wouldn’t let her go.
