Jordan Williams (concussion) did not play on Friday against the Warriors.
Williams has a mild concussion and will have to pass a series of baseline tests before he’s cleared to return.
  • Shelden Williams (eye) will be out until at least April 5 with a right eye injury.
There are no details available for Williams other than the fact that he has a “right eye injury.” Avery Johnson said he was “really concerned” about Williams after he was taken to the hospital following his injury. With Shelden Williams and Jordan Williams (concussion) both hurt, Johan Petro will be forced into some serious minutes moving forward.
  • Shelden Williams will not return for the Nets after suffering an eye injury on Wednesday.
Rookie Jordan Williams could get a lot of minutes the rest of the way for the Nets.
  • Jordan Williams left Wednesday’s game with concussion-like symptoms.
Shelden Williams left earlier with an eye injury, as the Nets are running out of big men. In other words, it’s Johan Petro time, although he’s probably not good enough to be grabbed in fantasy leagues.
  • Nets coach Avery Johnson said the team is “really concerned” about Shelden Williams, who was taken to the hospital after leaving Wednesday night’s game with a right eye injury.
Williams was hit in the eye by the Pacers Tyler Hansbrough, and ran off the court immediately and headed straight for the locker room. The Nets PR staff have said they will have no further updates on Williams until Thursday, and we will update you once we know more. Big man Jordan Williams also got hurt tonight, so Johan Petro could suddenly become a relevant fantasy player.

Johan Petro had four points, five rebounds, and a block on Wednesday, but the bigger story is the fact that both Shelden and Jordan Williams went down with injuries.
Shelden went down with a right eye injury in the second quarter and had to be taken to the hospital, while Jordan left in the third quarter due to concussion-like symptoms. With Brook Lopez out, Petro looks to be the only healthy big man left, outside of Kris Humphries. If both Williams’ miss significant time, Petro should start and see heavy minutes. However, owners shouldn’t rush to pick him up, as he’s averaging just five points and three rebounds in six starts this season.
  • Jordan Williams scored a career-high 14 points on 7-of-7 shooting with four rebounds and a block in 24 minutes off the bench on Friday against the Wizards.
Clearly he’s not going to make every shot attempt going forward and there isn’t a lot to grab onto here. If the Nets decide to give the youngster some run, we’ll let you know.
  • Jordan Williams started at center again, but played just 12 minutes to finish with four points, two rebounds and a block.
No other centers really contributed, as the Nets just went with a small lineup for most of the night.
  • Jordan Williams scored 13 points with five rebounds and two assists on Friday in 26 minutes of action.
It’s nice to see the Nets giving their rookie some run late in the season, but it’s doubtful he accumulates any fantasy value during the remainder of this season. Plus, the Nets only play three times next week. Avoid.
  • Shelden Williams (knee) will not play on Thursday against the Raptors.
Williams is dealing with a knee injury that will prevent him from playing in this one. Rookie Jordan Williams should once again draw the start at center in his place.
