Derrickson

Derrickson spent last season on a two-way deal with the Warriors. He appeared in 11 NBA games and averaged 4.2 points and 1.2 rebounds in 6.1 minutes.

Derrickson is a two-way player who’s spent most of his time in the G League, but he’ll get a handful of minutes for Golden State’s injury-ravaged frontcourt. As tonight’s line shows, he’s still nowhere near fantasy relevance.

Derrickson had a nice preseason, averaging 14.0 points and 4.8 rebounds in 21.4 minutes across five games. He joins Damion Lee as the Warriors two two-way players. Derrickson will probably spend most of his time in the G-League and isn’t fantasy relevant.

During his junior year with Georgetown, Derrickson averaged 15.9 points with an impressive 1.6 triples on 46.5% shooting from downtown. While playing in the Vegas Summer League for Golden State, he notched a solid 13.0 points and 5.0 rebounds in eight games. The Warriors are deep at the forward spots, but this contract serves as an opportunity for Derrickson to potentially earn a two-way deal.
