The Knicks have officially signed F Maurice Ndour.
After spending the 2015-16 season in Europe, Ndour will now join the Knicks on a two-year deal. While he could have some value in deeper fantasy leagues, Ndour can be ignored in standard leagues as he’ll have limited upside as Kristaps Porzingis’ backup.

The Knicks have reportedly signed Maurice Ndour to a two-year contract, with the first year being guaranteed.
Ndour had a nice showing during last year’s summer league that earned him a contract with the Mavs, but a leg injury resulted in him being waived and he then spent the 2015-16 season in Europe. Ndour will likely play limited minutes in New York operating as a backup to Kristaps Porzingis, so he’s not going to be a standard league asset, although his shot blocking ability could have him pop up on the radar in deeper leagues.

Maurice Ndour has been sent down for yet another D-League stint.
The only blurbs we’ve written about Ndour this season have been regarding his D-League assignments, which tells you about all you need to know of his non-existent fantasy value.

Maurice Ndour has been sent down for a D-League stint.
The D-League is the only place Ndour can earn meaningful playing time.
  • Power Forward #2
The Knicks announced on Saturday that they have assigned Maurice Ndour to the D-League.
Ndour has played sparingly of late. He appeared in only three of the Knicks last six games and played a total of eight minutes. Ndour can be ignored in standard fantasy leagues.
  • Power Forward #2
The Knicks have recalled Maurice Ndour from their D-League affiliate.
Ndour is a negligible part of the rotation in New York, so he can safely remain on waiver wires everywhere.
  • Power Forward #2
Maurice Ndour (ankle) is available to play against the Rockets on Saturday.
He might actually get some minutes. The Knicks may actually use him with about half of their usual rotation banged up. Ndour would be a risky DFS play, obviously.
  • Power Forward #2
Maurice Ndour (sprained right ankle) did not practice Tuesday.
The Knicks next game is Wednesday in Atlanta. However, there is no fantasy impact here, as Ndour has fallen out of the Knicks rotation.
  • Power Forward #2
The Knicks have recalled Maurice Ndour from the D-League.
Ndour will provide some emergency depth off the bench with Kristaps Porzingis (Achilles) still banged up, but he has no fantasy value.
  • Power Forward #2
The Knicks have recalled Maurice Ndour from the D-League.
He’s usually not in the rotation when the Knicks are healthy and can be ignored in all fantasy leagues.
