The Knicks have reportedly signed Maurice Ndour to a two-year contract, with the first year being guaranteed.
Ndour had a nice showing during last year’s summer league that earned him a contract with the Mavs, but a leg injury resulted in him being waived and he then spent the 2015-16 season in Europe. Ndour will likely play limited minutes in New York operating as a backup to Kristaps Porzingis, so he’s not going to be a standard league asset, although his shot blocking ability could have him pop up on the radar in deeper leagues.
