C Milovan Rakovic’s draft rights are now owned by the Bulls after they acquired him in a minor trade with the Magic, which sent Anthony Randolph’s contract and a couple second-round picks to Orlando.
He has spent his entire career overseas after having his rights acquired by the Magic back in 2007, and it’s unknown when he might be ready to play here, if ever.

The Mavericks selected Serbian forward Milovan Rakovic with the last pick in Thursday’s draft.
The chances of him playing in the NBA are slim to none, and the Mavs traded him to the Magic for the rights to Reyshawn Terry.

Milovan Rakovic, acquired by the Magic in a draft night deal, may come to North America and play in the summer league for the team.
In the fall, he’ll return to Europe to play and may not be heard from again on this side of the Atlantic for quite some time, if ever.

According to a rumor in the San Jose Mercury News, the Warriors might not want to sign-and-trade C.J. Watson for less than a first round pick and cash.
The Magic are apparently offering part of their traded player exception (from the Hedo Turkoglu deal), a second-round pick, and the rights to Milovan Rakovic. One way or another, a deal sending Watson to Orlando appears inevitable.
  • NBA Power Forward #4
Portland has traded Noah Vonleh and cash to Chicago for the rights to Milovan Rakovic, according to Adrian Wojnarowski on ESPN.com.
He’s still just 22 years old and has upside as an athletic four man. Of course, the former lottery pick has been on three teams so far and he’s seen a number of Blazers take his playing time. This will give the Blazers a trade exception to use today and it helps their luxury tax number for now.
