Warriors guard Nemanja Nedovic (ankle, groin) has resumed full basketball activities while playing for Serbia during EuroBasket.
Mark Jackson referred to Nedovic as “a really athletic Jose Calderon” in July, but the 22-year-old guard hasn’t shown the same long-range proficiency as Calderon during his international career. He’ll play an important role for the Serbian team, whose leading scorer in preliminary games was former NBA big man Nenad Krstic.

Warriors sign first-round pick Nemanja Nedovic.
Nedovic was working on a buyout from his Lithuanian pro team, which was finalized Tuesday. Nedovic was originally selected by Phoenix, but his draft rights were traded to Golden State. The Warriors are high on Nedovic and he’s currently with their summer-league team. He’s expected to play in at least one game before returning to Europe to fulfill commitments and could compete for backup minutes with Toney Douglas.

Nemanja Nedovic is working on a buyout from his Lithuanian pro team and will sign with the Warriors.
The Warriors have been high on Nedovic since they selected him at 30 in the draft, but that’s really the way it goes in post-draft chatter. The Warriors could use some guard depth since Jarrett Jack headed to Cleveland, so Nedovic could compete with Toney Douglas for backup minutes.

Mark Jackson described rookie guard Nemanja Nedovic as “a really athletic Jose Calderon.”
Nedovic sprained his ankle before Summer League and didn’t play in any games before leaving to help the Serbian national team compete in the EuroBasket tournament. Jackson said Nedovic needs to improve his pick-and-roll defense, and the Warriors’ depth should ensure that he plays a marginal role as a rookie.

Nemanja Nedovic was still wearing a protective boot on his inflamed right foot on Friday and is expected to miss at least another week.
He’s had some trouble staying healthy with this ailment as well as a hamstring problem last month. Nedovic will get most of his work in the D-League this year.

The Warriors have assigned Dewayne Dedmon, Ognjen Kuzmic and Nemanja Nedovic to their D-League affiliate, the Santa Cruz Warriors.
Dedmon was just called up two days ago as emergency depth with Jermaine O’Neal (groin, knee) injured, but J.O. is day-to-day after tests revealed no serious damage. Don’t be surprised if this trio of D-League players gets re-called a few times throughout the season.

Nemanja Nedovic was sent to the D-League on Friday.
He played four minutes in garbage time on Tuesday and did not play in five of the last six games with the Warriors. Nedovic will likely be back with the big club at some point, but won’t be worth picking up while the Warriors are even remotely close to full strength.

Nemanja Nedovic did not practice on Monday due to a hamstring injury.
He was just called up from the D-League on Friday and did not play in his first game with the team. Nedovic won’t get playing time while Toney Douglas and Stephen Curry are healthy.

Warriors SG Nemanja Nedovic will miss at least two weeks due to a strained left hamstring.
Nedovic has played a token role during garbage time throughout the season, while also averaging 19.0 points and 3.6 assists in five games for the Warriors’ D-League affiliate. His absence won’t have fantasy implications.

The Warriors recalled Nemanja Nedovic from the D-League on Friday.
He will mainly serve as backcourt depth. The 22-year-old Serbian is averaging just 1.1 points in 6.4 minutes during 21 games with the big club this season. Nedovic is off the fantasy radar.
