Late in the second quarter of Saturday night’s contest between the Pelicans and the Bulls, Anthony Davis completed an impressive alley-oop slam, but fell down hard to the floor immediately afterward.
He remained in the game for a short stretch, before exiting for the final few minutes of the first half.
From Jim Eichenhofer of Pelicans.com:
Anthony Davis was holding his right shoulder and came out of game. During a timeout after fall he appeared to be holding it as well
We’ll update the situation as appropriate. For now, take a look at the play as it unfolded, and hope for the best where Davis is concerned.
