Larry Nance, Jr. has been a bright spot in a miserable Lakers season, and he’s going to miss the rest of the Lakers’ schedule through the All-Star break with a sore knee.

Via ESPN.com’s Baxter Holmes:

It sounds like this isn’t anything serious, but worth keeping in mind: Nance’s right knee is the one in which he suffered a torn ACL in 2014. It’s probably safer to let him rest for a couple of weeks, since the Lakers view him as an important piece to their long-term rebuilding plan.

The Lakers have five more games before the break, including matchups with the Spurs and Cavaliers.
