If you had Mo Williams in your “Who will be the first player to score 50 points in an NBA game this season, today is your lucky day. Williams dropped a career high 52 points in the Timberwolves’ 110-101 road win against the Indiana Pacers.
He was hitting pretty much everything, including shots like this:
Not only is it a new career high for Williams, it also broke the record (previously held by Amar’e Stoudemire with 49) for most points scored by an opponent at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
Oh, and the Timberwolves ended a 15-game losing streak, so that’s cool.
