Now what, Cavaliers?

Come early November, there will be NBA games at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland.

Nobody in Cleveland wants to think about it today, but it will happen. And can wonder what the Cleveland Cavalier roster will look like for Byron Scott. Who now has a very different job than the one he hoped for.

Mo Williams and DeLonte West are at the point. Antawn Jamison and Anderson Varejao at the forward. There is the promising JJ Hickson. Also Jamario Moon, Anthony Parker and Sebastian Telfair. And they have $9 million in cap space (once they renounce LeBron, which they will be all to happy to do), according to Brian Windhorst.

They are a team primed to make a few trades and start rebuilding the roster. But the question becomes who orchestrates those moves? General manager Danny Ferry was let go.

What is the vision for the team? In Byron Scott’s other two coaching stops he had some of the premiere point guards in the game -- Jason Kidd and Chris Paul. The smart bet would be them moving in that direction.

But look for some roster moves. Once the mourning period ends, the rebuilding needs to start.
