Late in the second quarter of Friday night’s contest between the Timberwolves and the Magic, Ricky Rubio went down with an apparent ankle injury, and required assistance to be helped off the floor.
A replay showed that he rolled his left ankle pretty good, though there’s no official word yet on the specifics or the severity of the injury.
Rubio is averaging career-bests in points (10.8) rebounds (6.3) and assists (11.0) through the first four games of the season.
