Nobody really knows what Paul George is going to look like this season. He missed all but six games last year after suffering a devastating leg injury in a Team USA scrimmage in the summer of 2014. He’s looked great in preseason, but he comes back with a changed roster and a changed role. One person who’s extremely confident in George’s prospects this year is Pacers head coach Frank Vogel:
Pacers coach Frank Vogel says he believes Paul George will have the best season of his career.

George is going to be playing some power forward this season, which he has expressed reservations about. But if he buys into the role, there’s no reason he can’t have a bounceback year after a lost season last year. If he plays like 2013-14, when he was a borderline MVP candidate, the Pacers have at least a shot at competing for a playoff spot.
