The Warriors have officially waived forward Alfonzo McKinnie.

McKinnie went from the presumptive starter at small forward to released in the span of about a month, largely because of the injuries the team has had in the frontcourt. The rest of the league will have 48 hours to make a claim for McKinnie. The Warriors also released Jared Cunningham and Nick Zeisloft.

He averaged 6.6 points per game during his college career for Indiana, shooting 43.2 percent from deep. It’s just a training camp invite, so he will likely end up in the D-League.
