Patrick Christopher will sign a deal with German Bundesliga club Bremerhaven.
The SG spent last season with the Iowa Energy in the D-League. Christopher has a total of four NBA games under his belt, but the 28-year-old will likely finish his career overseas.
  • UTA Shooting Guard #19
Patrick Christopher has agreed to a non-guaranteed contract with the Grizzlies.
He had a similar deal with the Bulls last season and is now the 14th player on Memphis’ roster. Christopher was named the D-League Performer of the Week back in April and will definitely get a camp invite in October. The 6'5" shooting guard is off the fantasy radar.
  • UTA Shooting Guard #19
The Grizzlies have decided not to invite Patrick Christopher to training camp.
With Ryan Hollins and Dan Nwaelele coming to camp instead, the Grizzlies have reversed course on Christopher. While the 27-year-old may hook on with another team, he can be ignored by fantasy owners.
  • UTA Shooting Guard #19
    Jazz sign G Patrick Christopher.
He was with the Grizzlies over the summer and didn’t make the team. Christopher is likely headed to the D-League.
  • NBA Point Guard #24
The Grizzlies waived Kalin Lucas and Patrick Christopher on Saturday.
They are expected to join the D-league and both are off of the fantasy radar.
  • UTA Shooting Guard #19
Patrick Christopher attempted eight shots in 13 minutes off Utah’s bench on Tuesday, finishing 2-of-8 from the field for four points.
He also grabbed two rebounds but committed five personal fouls during his limited action, and has a steep learning curve while adjusting to the NBA. Alec Burks’ season-ending shoulder surgery could open reliable minutes for Christopher, but he’s only on the radar in the deepest of leagues.
  • NBA Small Forward #22
Rodney Hood (sore left heel) is being listed as questionable for Friday’s game against the Hawks.
Hood has already missed 10 games this season with right heel issues, so this isn’t looking good. If he’s unable to go on Friday, Dante Exum and Patrick Christopher could see extended minutes, but neither guy makes for a great option in daily leagues. Stay tuned.
  • UTA Shooting Guard #19
The Utah Jazz have waived Patrick Christopher (knee) on Tuesday.
He suffered a dislocated kneecap on Friday and that signaled the end of his brief stint with the Jazz. The move allows the Jazz to have another roster slot available and they are reportedly going to sign guard Elliot Williams to a 10-day contract on Wednesday. Christopher can be cut across the board.
  • UTA Shooting Guard #19
Patrick Christopher made his NBA debut on Saturday vs. the 76ers, but failed to connect on his only shot attempt and added just one steal in six minutes.
It is great to see him make his debut, but he looked hesitant during his time on the court and likely won’t be in the rotation anytime soon. You can safely ignore Christopher in almost all formats.

Patrick Christopher has a dislocated right kneecap and will have an MRI once the swelling goes down, though no ligaments are thought to be damaged.
“He’s a tough kid,” Jazz coach Quin Snyder said after the game. “All the times that he’s competed to get a moment like this where he is playing in an NBA game in a significant way, to have that happen is really, really unfortunate.” Even if he didn’t damage any ligaments, Christopher should still be looking at some time on the sidelines but there is no need to speculate until we get the results of the MRI. Dante Exum was the main beneficiary in Friday’s game and is worth a look in deeper leagues for his upside.
