Updating a previous report, Rade Zagorac signed a two-year deal with Mega Leks in Serbia.
The Grizzlies drafted him with the 35th pick with the expectation that he would stay overseas for a bit. His deal will have an NBA out at the end of next season.
  • Small Forward
Rade Zagorac will stay overseas for at least the 2016-17 season.
The 35th pick of the 2016 NBA Draft will spend some time in Las Vegas with the Grizzlies, but has decided to play with Mega Leks of the Basketball League of Serbia for at least the upcoming season. The 20-year-old has potential, but he’s not on the fantasy radar just yet.
  • Small Forward
Rade Zagorac has reportedly agreed to a three-year, $3.9 million deal with the Grizzlies.
Zagorac was originally drafted by the Grizzlies with the No. 35 pick in the 2016 NBA draft, but he spent this past season playing overseas for Mega Leks in Serbia. He’ll help bring some emergency depth to the small forward spot in Memphis, but he won’t be a significant part of the rotation his rookie season.
  • Small Forward
Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN is reporting that Rade Zagorac will not make the final roster in Memphis.
The Grizzlies will waive the forward unless they can find a trade partner before the deadline on Monday evening. The 22-year-old forward barely played in the preseason, averaging 3.6 points in 10.0 minutes per contest. This also means Dillon Brooks and Ivan Rabb will make the final roster.
  • Small Forward
The Grizzlies have waived Rade Zagorac.
Zagorac failed to impress through training camp and the preseason, and he’ll likely head back overseas or he could wind up in the G-League. Either way, he’s irrelevant in fantasy hoops.
  • Small Forward
Rade Zagorac is expected to sign with KK Partizan Belgrade.
Zagorac was originally drafted by the Grizzlies with the 35th overall pick in the 2016 NBA draft, but was waived by Memphis last month after failing to impress in training camp and the preseason.
