Guard Romain Sato may earn a roster spot with the Phoenix Suns.
The four-year starter at Xavier is a 25-year-old shooting guard and has a 7-foot wingspan. The fact the Suns have three roster spots to fill and came out of the draft empty handed is going to work in Sato’s favor. He was waived by the Spurs in 2005 and will participate in two-a-day rookie/free-agent camp today and Thursday and in five Vegas Summer League games for the Suns.
