Sixers signed power forward Shavlik Randolph to a one-year contract.
He spent three injury-plagued seasons at Duke before giving up his last season of eligibility to find an NBA job. He averaged 4.4 points and 4.3 rebounds in 29 games, including 20 starts, last season. He finished sixth in the Atlantic Coast Conference with 1.52 blocked shots per game. No fantasy value here.

The Kings worked out F Shavlik Randolph on Wednesday.
Randolph was not signed to a contract, but he just finished a season in China where he averaged 24.7 points and 11.9 rebounds per game. The Kings have an open roster spot, so it remains to be seen if Randolph will be offered a deal.

Shavlik Randolph recently worked out for the Miami Heat.
Miami is looking to add a big man and has recently also worked out Rasheed Wallace. If signed, Randolph would have zero fantasy value.

Shavlik Randolph has signed a contract with Foshan Long Lions of the Chinese Basketball Association.
Looks like it’s back to China for the big man. Fantasy owners hopeful of Randolph finding NBA relevancy will have to wait another year.

The Wizards waived Shavlik Randolph and Jeff Gray on Saturday.
Neither player had much of a chance to make the team. The Wizards still have two more cuts to make before the opener.

Wizards signed F Shavlik Randolph to a non-guaranteed contract.
He’ll be invited to training camp. Randolph worked out with a couple teams in March, but he couldn’t find any takers. His last NBA stint was for three games at a 2.0 minutes-per-game clip in 2010 with Portland. The 28-year-old big man will not have any fantasy value this year.

Shavlik Randolph is reportedly in “advanced negotiations” with a team in China.
Randolph would make “equal or greater than” the NBA veteran’s minimum, which is a deal he’ll probably take after being waived by the Heat last year and playing in Puerto Rico. He is expected to make his decision very soon.

Celtics GM Danny Ainge hinted Shavlik Randolph has a strong chance of returning to the Celtics next season.
The team holds an option on Randolph’s deal, and Ainge understands his value. “Shav helped us a lot,” he said. “He’s a guy that will probably have the best chance of being with us in the future, just because he rebounds, and that was one of our weaknesses.” It wouldn’t surprise us to see Randolph stick as a backup behind Kevin Garnett.

The Celtics are expected to sign Shavlik Randolph to a second 10-day contract.
Randolph has not played a single second since he was signed to his first 10-day contract, so he’s the definition of an insurance policy for Boston.

The Celtics are expected to sign Shavlik Randolph for the rest of the season.
No surprise here as Randolph’s second 10-day contract is set to expire and the team wants to keep him for the remainder of the regular season and the playoffs.
