Unless the Knicks can arrange a trade, they are expected to release Travis Knight.
The Knicks are on the hook for $4.4 million to Knight this season. GM Scott Layden is looking for a scorer due to the iffy condition of Allan Houston’s knee, but hasn’t been able to land Jamal Crawford or Mo Peterson.
