    Lakers waive F Travis Wear.
He was on a two-way deal and the Lakers made a move to get Johnathan Williams in that slot instead. Wear has spent a lot of time in the Lakers organization, and he could be back on the roster later in the year on a 10-day deal.
  • Point Guard
Julian Jacobs and Travis Wear have both officially signed their training camp deals with the Lakers.
The Lakers will bring 18 players to camp, but neither of these guys are likely to make the regular-season roster.

    Lakers sign F Travis Wear.
He was in Spain last year after debuting in the NBA in 2014-15. Wear is unlikely to make the NBA roster.

Thomas Robinson received no guaranteed money in his contract with the Lakers, according to Alex Kennedy of Basketball Insiders.
It’s common for training camp invites to get little to no guaranteed money, but this really speaks to how bare the market was for T-Rob’s services. Although Los Angeles has a lot of frontcourt depth, Robinson’s hustle and effort could give him an edge to make the final roster. He’ll have to beat out several others, but it’s not an impossible scenario. Fellow camp invitees Metta World Peace, Julian Jacobs and Travis Wear also received no guaranteed money in their deals.

    Lakers sign F Travis Wear.
It’s a two-way deal and Wear was with the Lakers at camp last year, too. He is almost certainly going to get most of his minutes in the G League.
  • Power Forward #21
Travis Wear (back) has been ruled out for Sunday’s game vs. the 76ers.
With Wear unavailable, Quincy Acy will likely pick up most of his minutes, and he’s been playing well over the last two games scoring in double figures while knocking down some 3-pointers. Still, Acy can only be viewed as a streamer option in extremely deep leagues.
  • Power Forward #21
Travis Wear will not be invited to the Knicks’ training camp.
He averaged 3.9 points and 2.1 boards in 13.2 minutes in 51 appearances last season, so it’s not a surprise to see the Knicks move forward without him. We will let you know if Wear gets an invite from another team.
  • Power Forward #21
Travis Wear (back) will not play against the Clippers on Wednesday.
It’s his second straight game out of the lineup for the Knicks. He was on track to get some playing time with all the injuries, but there’s no word on how long he’ll be out. Keep him on the wire.
  • Small Forward #11
Cleanthony Early (ankle) will not suit up for Tuesday’s game against the Spurs.
With Early unavailable, Travis Wear and Lance Thomas will be in line for some extended minutes, although neither guy can be viewed as a viable option in standard leagues. Thomas is coming off a 14-point outing, so he technically offers the most upside.
  • Power Forward #21
Travis Wear (back) did not play on Friday against the Bucks.
Wear has been out for a while and we haven’t heard much about his status. He has no fantasy value.
