Trey Lyles is finalizing an agreement to join Real Madrid.
Lyles will leave the NBA to join one of the best teams in Europe. Lyles, who spent the last four seasons in Sacramento, could return to the NBA in the future, but won’t be part of the Kings’ frontcourt depth next season. That could certainly open the door for more minutes for Maxime Raynaud, as well as veterans like Drew Eubanks and Dario Saric.
  • SAC Small Forward #33
Jake LaRavia (thumb) is out for Wednesday’s game against the Mavericks.
LaRavia has been out since March 25 with an incomplete scaphoid fracture of his left thumb, and he will not be available for Wednesday’s Play-In tournament game. Trey Lyles’s playing time has increased substantially, and that should remain the case against the Mavericks. The Kings will be without two crucial reserves, as Malik Monk (calf) is also out.
  • SAC Small Forward #13
Keegan Murray (back) is available for Friday’s game against the Clippers.
Murray is back after missing three games with a back injury. The Kings forward should bump Trey Lyles back to the bench against the Clippers.
  • SAC Small Forward #13
Keegan Murray (back) is questionable for Friday’s game against the Clippers.
Murray has missed Sacramento’s last three games with lower back inflammation. Trey Lyles has been his replacement in the starting lineup, most recently scoring 17 points in Wednesday’s loss to the Nuggets. The opportunity to start and play heavy minutes makes Lyles worth adding in active fantasy leagues if Murray cannot play on Friday.
  • SAC Power Forward #41
Trey Lyles had 17 points (6-of-9 FGs), nine rebounds, four assists and two steals against the Nuggets on Wednesday.
Lyles continued to start with Keegan Murray (back) out. The 29-year-old power forward played 38 minutes and was -9 in the eight-point loss to the Nuggets. Lyles is unlikely to keep this role going into next season, but he’s being given the opportunity to put up consistent points and rebounds down the stretch of this season.
  • SAC Small Forward #13
Keegan Murray (back) is out for Wednesday’s game against the Nuggets.
Murray is set to miss his third game in a row with lower back inflammation. Trey Lyles could move into the starting lineup again, though he hasn’t done much with the increased opportunity so far.
  • SAC Small Forward #13
Keegan Murray (back) is questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Nuggets.
Murray has missed the last two games with a back injury. He has a legitimate chance of missing Wednesday’s game as well given his questionable listing. Trey Lyles could move into the starting lineup again with Murray out, though he’s not a recommended streaming option.
  • SAC Small Forward #13
Keegan Murray (back) is out for Monday’s game against the Pistons.
Murray will miss a second-straight game with a back injury. Trey Lyles replaced him in the lineup for Sunday’s win over the Cavaliers. While he did not provide much fantasy value, another opportunity to start would raise Lyles’s ceiling.
  • SAC Small Forward #13
Keegan Murray (back) and Keon Ellis (hand) are questionable for Monday’s matchup with the Pistons.
Murray sat out Sunday, and he’s in danger of missing a second-straight contest due to a back injury. If he’s unavailable, Trey Lyles could remain with the first unit. Ellis’ appearance on the injury report could be precautionary for the second leg of Sacramento’s back-to-back set, and if he’s unavailable, Malik Monk could slot back into the starting five. Devin Carter would also be a candidate for additional minutes.
  • SAC Small Forward #13
Keegan Murray (back) is out for Sunday’s game against the Cavaliers.
Murray is unavailable for Sunday’s game, and his absence opens up a spot in the starting lineup. However, instead of Malik Monk, Trey Lyles will move into the starting five. Lyles is worth a look in deep leagues out of necessity, but he is not a must-stream player.
