Willie Reed will play with the Utah Jazz summer league squad in July.
Reed was playing well for Utah’s G League affiliate last season, averaging 20.1 points, 11.3 rebounds and 1.8 blocks in 21 appearances, before he suffered a season-ending shoulder injury in January.

Willie Reed suffered a season-ending shoulder injury on Wednesday.
Reed was playing for Utah’s G-League squad, but they’ll be waiving him now that he’s done for the year, and he has a long recovery ahead of him.

The Kings will waive Hamady N’diaye, Willie Reed and Tony Mitchell.
None of these players had much of a chance to produce with the Kings and are unlikely to catch on with another team. The Sacramento roster is now down to 14.

Willie Reed is expected to sign with the Grizzlies.
He average 11.7 points and 6.0 boards in the D-League this year. Reed is a 6'9" forward and won’t have much opportunity unless the Grizzlies are decimated by injuries or rest more than half their team in the upcoming two games.

Grizzlies officially sign Willie Reed for the remainder of the season.
Reed averaged 11.7 points and 6.09 rebounds in the D-League this season. He’ll provide Memphis depth in their frontcourt but likely won’t get more than a handful of minutes.

The Pacers and Wolves have both expressed an interest in free agent center Willie Reed.
The Spurs are also said to be interested, so it sounds like he has a decent chance of landing another NBA contract after the Nets declined to extend him a qualifying offer. Reed averaged 4.7 points, 3.1 boards and 0.8 blocks in 10.9 minutes per game last season.

Willie Reed again expressed that he’s been working on polishing his offensive game this summer.
” I’m working on the offensive part of my game: post moves, reading the defense, catching the ball off of the pick-and-roll and being able to avoid traffic,” he said. Reed is really embracing his new chance in Miami, and he could be the next Heat prospect to watch on a team that has developed some solid NBA players seemingly out of nowhere over the last few years. However, as long as Hassan Whiteside is healthy, Reed is very unlikely to be a fantasy factor.

There is mutual interest between the Warriors and Willie Reed, according to Alex Kennedy of Basketball Insiders.
Reed only averaged 4.7 points and 3.1 rebounds in 10.9 minutes per game last season and wouldn’t serve as much more than a bench option for the Warriors. We’ll keep an eye on this situation, but there isn’t much from a fantasy standpoint here.

The Nets will not give Willie Reed a qualifying offer, making him an unrestricted free agent.
Reed missed the end of the 2015-16 season for undisclosed personal reasons, which might have factored into the Nets’ decision, but either way he was unlikely to earn many minutes with Brook Lopez healthy. Reed shot 57.1 percent from the field in his 39 games played as a rookie, and has enough upside to warrant a look from another NBA franchise.

Heat sign F/C Willie Reed to a two-year contract.
The deal is fully guaranteed and carries a player option for the second season. Expected to serve as Hassan Whiteside’s primary backup, there isn’t much to get excited about regarding Reed’s fantasy potential unless Whiteside were to miss an extended period of time. It is worth noting that Reed averaged 15.4 points, 10.3 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per 36 minutes in Brooklyn, but he’s not going to get an open showcase in Miami.
